Professor Susan Adams teaches a variety of management courses at Bentley. She publishes regularly in academic and practitioner journals, focusing on careers of women and prominent leaders, organizational change and gender equality. Susan’s work and thought leadership remarks are regularly cited in media outlets. Her academic insights are enhanced by her practical experience and consulting work with over 100 corporate and executive clients, and her work with Governor Patrick's Corporate Challenge. She has also served on and chaired boards of companies and non-profit organizations. Susan has held several administrative positions at Bentley, including Management Department Chair and she Chaired the Management Consulting and Careers Divisions of the Academy of Management and is a member of the American Psychological Association. She earned a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Georgia Institute of Technology, the first woman in her field to do so.
