Primary teaching areas are Marketing/Operations Fundamentals, Integrated Business Project, and Leading Effective Teams. Serves as the Management Department, Assistant Chair. Skills include operations management, team skills, process efficiency, quality management, policy and procedure, and tactical and strategic planning. Experience includes Manager of Corporate Policy and Procedure, Program Manager for Quality, Manager of Finance and Accounting, and Management Accountant. Current interests include learning about the benefits of sustainability and how it improves business performance. Some recent consulting projects include: (1) researching materials and developing a process flow for building an environmentally friendly manufacturing/warehouse facility; and (2) assessing the need for a Town Manager, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and recommending, to the Board of Selectmen, a candidate for the position of Town Manager of a municipality.
