Bio

Has researched actively in applied microeconomics, corporate social responsibility, executive compensation, environmental economics, and sports economics. Teaching fields have included intermediate price theory and environmental economics. Publications have appeared in journals such as Land Economics, the Southern Economic Journal, The Review of Industrial Organization, and the Journal of Sports Economics. Is the co-author of Environmental Economics and Management, a textbook for undergraduate and MBA students, now in its 6th edition. Is the recipient of the Faculty Member of the Year Award (1991), Adamian Award for Teaching Excellence (1993), the Scholar of the Year Award (1996), and the Outstanding Scholarly Contribution Award (2005)
