Bio
Gaurav Shah is the Sr. Director of Academic Technologies & User Experience Design overseeing the Academic Technology Center (ATC) and Classroom Presentation Technologies (CPT). In this role he leads a diverse and dynamic team to drive innovation and implement effective technology solutions that enhance both instructional and research experience. He is also co-host of a podcast “AI in Academia: Navigating the Future” where he explores the multifaceted impacts, risks, and growing opportunities presented by AI in academic settings. In addition to his leadership roles, Gaurav is a committed educator, having developed and taught a variety of courses that integrate technology with academic curriculum. His teaching portfolio includes courses like "Concept Development" where he explored design thinking and creative methodologies; "The World Wide Web" focusing on web development technologies; and "Effective Business Communications" where he emphasized the art of business storytelling and presentations.
