Bio

Professional interests focus on the application of psychology to work and organizations. Teaching, research, and consulting are in the areas of interpersonal relations, emotional intelligence and organizational change and leadership. Published articles in Psychological Bulletin, Human Relations, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Planning, The Journal of Management Inquiry, The Organizational Behavior Teaching Review/Journal of Management Education, The Harvard Business Review, and a book entitled The Good Enough Manager: The Making of a GEM (Routledge). Received numerous awards including the Gregory H. Adamian Award for Lifetime Teaching Excellence in 2019.
