How to Complete Your Annual Activity & Planning Reports
Digital Measures can generate annual activity and planning reports that include all scholarly and other activities you have entered into the system, courses you've taught, SETs scores, etc. You will need to complete the narratives for each report section (note that your narratives will be saved in the system so they can simply be copied and revised next year).
Should you wish to share any information of a confidential or sensitive nature in your reports, please do so directly with your chair, and check the “Supplemental information has been provided to my chair outside of Digital Measures” boxes in “Review Report for Accuracy & Certify Complete” in Digital Measures. Please note that any data entered outside Digital Measures will not appear for you to edit next year in Digital Measures.
Once finished, you can generate the reports from Digital Measures in Word or PDF format. Check the “Review Report for Accuracy & Certify Complete” boxes in Digital Measures to indicate that you are finished. The reports will be generated for you and sent to your chair.
Complete the narratives in the sections below. As Digital Measures does not offer built-in spellchecking, we recommend using Firefox as your browser rather than Internet Explorer; Firefox spellchecks as you type.
When you are finished completing the narratives and other sections, create a Word or PDF document to review each report:
- Go to the Run Custom Reports section
- Select Annual Activity Report (or Planning Report), and click Select Report.
- Select custom options including the date range, citation style, and file format.
- Click Build Report.
Once you are satisfied with the reports, please check the “Review Report for Accuracy & Certify Complete” boxes to indicate that you are finished completing your reports in Digital Measures. You will not need to provide these reports to your department chair. If, after running the reports you decide for some reason the format is unacceptable to you, you may modify this Word document and email it to your chair. Simply check the “Supplemental information has been provided to my chair outside of Digital Measures” boxes in “Review Report for Accuracy & Certify Complete” in Digital Measures, and email or call Mary Jo Sanz (firstname.lastname@example.org | 781.891.2591) to let her know what formatting issues you encountered so they can be addressed for next year.
