Bio

Traci Abbott's research has focused on cultural representations of gender and sexuality in different periods of American history, from Emily Dickinson to 21st century novels and films, including her dissertation, which analyzed images of female sexuality in the novels of white and African American women writers from the 1920s and 1930s.
