Bio

Mike Page is a business school academic with a broad background in optimizing organization performance based on all aspects of social and human capital development. He has held several strategic leadership and management positions and been responsible for multi-million Euro revenue portfolios. Included amongst these have been senior positions at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town, Investec Asset Management and at RSM Erasmus University. His international experience spans the globe, with successful engagements and strategic alliances on every continent. Traveling extensively, Mike is an advocate of diversity and inclusion. He has assisted companies and institutions to develop learning paradigms that maximize human capital performance. As an academic, Mike possesses a sound theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of finance and management education. In his core discipline of finance, this includes measuring corporate value and risk, assessing portfolio performance and efficiency, ordinary equity research, and corporate finance. Within the realms of management education, his experience spans all forms of post-experience and executive development – ranging from MBA degrees through to open and customized programs for the corporate market. Throughout his twenty-five year career as an academic, Mike has maintained his applied focus with significant commercial consulting and leadership experience. This includes extensive periods of involvement with all aspects business school life within the state and private sectors. Directorship positions at two internationally recognized business schools involved managing commercial operations that are run independently of their parent universities. Most recently, governance and change management activities include transforming an education foundation into a private company and subsequently integrating it, from an operations perspective, with a large business faculty.
