Bio

Attorney. Awarded the first endowed law department Adamian Professor of Law Chair. Current research and publications include intellectual property with a special emphasis on copyright piracy and social networking websites; the ownership of e-mails, and internet law in general as well as the ethical and social responsibility of e-commerce; co-authored textbooks incluse a new textbook, "The Legal Environment of Business and Ethics: An Intergrated Approach" to be published in January, 2013 and "Cyberlaw: Text and Cases," 3/ed. Past president and current member of the executive committee of the North Atlantic Regional Business Law Association. Member of the board of editors of the "Business Law Review" and "Annual Editions: Business Ethics." Author of numerous legal articles including a publlication in the New York University School of Law Journal of Legislation and Public Policy, the Northwestern Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property, the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Intereest, Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal, the American Business Law Journal, American Journal of Jurisprudence, Marquette Law Review, Pepperdine Law Review, Journal of Legal Studies Education, Business Law Review and Cleveland State Law Review. Past Chairman of the Bentley University Law Department and a current research fellow at the Center for Business Ethics, Bentley University. Recipient of the Ralph C. Hober publication award given by the Academy of Legal Studies in Business, and the Bentley College Scholar of the Year Award. Has received the Bentley College Gregory H. Adamian Excellence in Teaching Award, Bentley College Innovative Teaching Awards, the Master Teacher Award and the Senior Faculty Award of Excellence from the Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Public service includes work at the St. Francis House, a homeless shelter in Boston, Massachusetts.
