Teaching Interests

Medieval Europe with an emphasis on Spain and the West; Ireland; The Renaissance and Reformation; The French Revolution and Napoleon.

Research Interests

I am fascinated by the development of Western social and economic structures, institutions and values and in the emergence of the modern mentality during the late middle ages and early modern period. I concentrate on the late medieval Crown of Aragon.
