Bio

Balaji Sankaranarayanan is an assistant professor in the Information and Process Management department at Bentley University. Balaji holds a doctorate degree majoring in Information Systems from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois-Chicago. His research interests include IT outsourcing and internal systems development and Healthcare IT. His research articles have been published in MIS Quarterly Executive, Communications of the ACM, and International Journal of Healthcare Quality Assurance. His publications also include teaching cases and book chapter, and proceedings of premier IS conferences such as ICIS and HICSS. Balaji's teaching interests include applied courses such as business processes and systems, and more technical courses such as data management and systems analysis and design. He is also the recipient of several honors and awards including best paper awards, teaching award, and other nominations.
