Teaching Interests

I enjoy teaching language, translation, culture, survey and civilization courses, as well as courses that draw on music, art, literature, theater and film to examine topics such as Hispanic Cities, Historical Memory, Identity, Structural Injustice, Immigration, as well as other Current Social and Economic Issues.

Research Interests

Spanish and Latin American Contemporary Theater and Film, Spanish Civil War, Historical Memory and Trauma, Autofiction, Translation.
